Job Description

Candidate will work as a lecturer as well as tutor in a private college. The subject to be taught is the A-Level Accounting. It is preferred that the candidate has at least 2 years of experience working in the related field though fresh graduates may also be considered. Candidates with prior teaching experience will be an added advantage.

The college is located in a small town of Tawau, Sabah where the pace of living is relatively slower compared to large cities, which is ideal to those looking for better quality of living.

The lecturers are required to work on a 5-day week. A typical working day starts at 8.15 am and ends at 3.30 pm with a lunch break of 1 hour 15 minutes. Subsidized in-campus accommodation may be arranged for outstation staff upon request.

Apart from lecturing, lecturers are required to handle the following duties and responsibilities (the list is not exhaustive):

• Prepare daily lesson plan;
• Conduct additional consultation sessions or remedial classes;
• Set and mark exam papers;
• Moderate exam papers and marked scripts;
• Review syllabuses and assessments structures;
• Supervise student activities or clubs; and
• Perform administrative duties as deemed appropriate by the Management.
