Job Description

CRITICAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

List the critical accountabilities that must be achieved in order that the job purpose is fulfilled. 

·        Initiation and development of course material.

·        The conduct of tutorials, practical classes, demonstrations, workshops and student field excursions,

·        The preparation and delivery of lectures and seminars.

·        Setting question papers, marking and assessment.

·        Consultation with students (Mentoring).

·        Production of teaching materials for students for whom the academic has responsibility.

·        Attendance at school and/or faculty meetings.

·        Required to observe all safety procedures and protocols within their operating environment.

·                  Teaching and teaching development

·                  Student discipline inside and outside the class.

·                  Development and promotion of innovative teaching methods.

·                  Leading collaborative teams.

·                  Securing Research grants

·                  Conduct research independently

·                  Department administration
