Job Description
Job Descriptions:
- Lecture at undergraduate and postgraduate level in areas allocated by the Head of Department/Dean and reviewed from time to time by the Head of Department/Dean.
- Prepare learning materials, electronic learning portal (ELP) sites, lesson plans, schemes of work, assignments to support high quality teaching and learning for all scheduled practical and classroom based teaching.
- Carry out research and produce publications, or other research outputs, in line with personal objectives agreed in the Staff Review process.
- Supervise or assist with supervision of undergraduate projects, taught postgraduate (Masters) or research postgraduate (PhD) students.
- Engage with the broader scholarly and professional communities.
- Contribute to the development, planning and implementation of a high quality curriculum.
Job Requirements:
- A PhD/Master’s degree in Software Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Computer Science/Networking & Security/Information Systems/other closely related disciplines.
- A strong commitment to teaching, research and advising students at the undergraduate and postgraduate level.
- Relevant industrial experience will be an added advantage.
