Job Description
As part of Sunway University’s commitment to academic excellence, the Department of Art, Design & Media in the School of Arts is hiring a Lecturer for the Bachelor of Arts (Hon) in Design Communication (BDC). BDC is a studio-based programme that covers graphic design and other aspects of design such as motion graphics, web design and visual communication. About the position:
- Candidates should have a PhD in Visual Communication, Graphic or Multimedia Design.
- Candidates should have a record of teaching excellence, a research agenda which may include studio practice, curiosity, creativity, and a commitment to department and university service.
- Two to five years of professional experience in graphic design, branding or multimedia design is preferred. We are looking for a candidate who can provide a leadership role in the programme.
