Job Description
Specialisations:
i) Forensic Medicine
iii) Psychiatry
Research Responsibilities:
- To participate actively in research and related scholarly activities & secure research grants
- To supervise research students at undergraduate/ postgraduate levels
- To achieve specified set of research outcomes in terms of publications, conference proceedings etc.
Administrative Responsibilities:
- To coordinate the biostatistics/ public health/ community medicine modules
- To engage in the preparation of ISO and MQA documents for the above modules
- Any other administrative duties as required from time to time by the Dean/Head/Program Leader
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree, Master Degree or PHD from a recognised university preferably in Medicine (MBBS)/ Biomedical Science/ Health Sciences/ Biomedical Science or in Psychiatry
- At least 5 to 10 years experience in teaching at College/University level
- Research and publication proven track record
- Experience in lab is an advantage
