Job Description
SUNWAY UNIVERSITY SDN BHD welcomes interested candidates tosubmit their resume for the abovestated vacancy with the following jobspecifications:
Responsibilities:
- To carry out research and produce publications, or other research outputs, in line with personalobjectives agreed with the Head of Department (HOD).
- To teach at undergraduate and graduate level in areas allocated by the HOD.
- To supervise undergraduate, taught graduate or research graduate students.
- To contribute to the development, planning and implementation of a high quality curriculum.
- To develop learning materials and maintaining records to monitor student progress, achievement andattendance.
- To contribute to the setting, administration and marking of exams and other assessments.
- To provide pastoral care and support to students.
- To undertake administrative and leadership duties as required by the HOD.
- To maintain own continuing professional development.
Requirements:
- Possess a PhD qualification in or related to the area of Computer Science/ Information Technology/Software Engineering/ Data Analytics/ Cybersecurity.
- Leadership, coordination and interpersonal communication skills are essential.
- Experience in blended learning and flipped classroom is required.
- Expertise related to topics such as Data Mining, Machine Learning, Big Data, Analytics, Software andSystems, Cloud Analytics solutions, such as Hadoop, Visualization, Statistics or related areas isrequired. Experience with SAS, R, Tableau or equivalent would have an added advantage.
- Active certification, such as CEH, CHFI, CCNA, or equivalent would have an added advantage.
