Job Description
HOSTEL WARDEN
Job Description:
- To look after the hostel premises and handle various issues of the employees and ensure hostel management is in compliance to the local housing act, rules and regulations.
- Responsible on the worker’s discipline in the hostel and ensure workers follow and obey hostel and company policies, rules and regulations.
- To conduct patrolling at hostel and its surrounding area and report to superior if there is any disciplinary issue or abnormality found and to improve and implement emergency response and control procedures.
- To keep on track of the housekeeping, all maintenance issues and ensure proper cleaning of the hostel premises by employees according to the cleaning timetable and submit a daily checklist report for all hostels and hand it to the immediate supervisor in the next morning.
- The hostel warden will be the liaison person at midnight/ rest day/ public holiday when emergencies such as employees falling ill, or accident happens in the hostel or company to ensure that all employees are treated or sent to hospital on time.
- To assist in setup of new hostel including furniture and its necessities before the arrival of the new employees & to make transportation arrangement for the employees (ad hoc cases).
Requirements:
- Preferable candidates with a minimum of 1-2 years working experience in managing workers or handling hostel.
- Candidates must be self-discipline, responsible, strong in enforcement & able to manage situation.
- Willing to work shifts & able to work overtime on normal day, rest day and public holiday.
- Computer literate.
- Candidate must possess a valid driving license.
- Physically & mentally fit.
- Fluent in English & Malaysia (written and spoken)
