Job Description
Responsibilities:
- To deliver student-centred lessons in accordance to the approved syllabi and scheme of work for subjects assigned.
- To develop, review and update notes, schemes of work and syllabi from time to time to reflect current practice.
- To conduct formative and summative assessments on a timely manner.
- To provide pastoral care, support and academic counselling to students.
- To coordinate programmes (time-tabling, manpower planning, resources utilization and reallocation) within the Department.
- To assist in the operations of existing programmes and development of new programmes in accordance to the policies and regulatory requirements of the college and regulatory authorities such as Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE) and the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA).
- To support Head of American Degree Program in academic and administration matters.
- To carry out or engage in research/publication activities.
- To assist in the promotional/marketing events and fairs of the college when necessary.
Requirements:
- Possess a Master’s Degree in English, Linguistics, Public Relations, communication or related field.
- Excellent interpersonal & presentation skills with strong command in spoken and written English.
- Able to provide students with a professional learning environment that supports academic, personal and professional success
- Well versed in Microsoft Office, Cloud computing and Video conferencing software
- Positive attitude towards work and people.
- Passionate about education, self-starter & a team player.
